    WhoIsI.com - A Friend Feed Follower

WhoIsI is not a new hiphop band act, nor is it a retread on the use of of proper English. It is, however a new feed site that lets you keep track of your friends and theirs, through their rss feeds.

Cutesy grammar aside, WhoIsI, is similar to FriendFeed, but with a slightly simpler interface. You don't need an account login unless you want to save your stuff for next time. WhoIsI works in sessions using a browser cookie. This may appear like other follow your friend's feeds sites, but it's got a few different features that separate it from the rest. Unlike others, you the user, are in charge of keeping up with your friends. It works on a wiki based logic where all profiles and users can edit what feeds they have. So, if friend A has a flickr feed, but it's not in the WhoIsI database, you can add it. Or delete a feed you don't necessarily want to follow. This way, you're in charge, you don't have to bug your friends about creating yet another tracking account. Plus, it's free and the interface makes it a very straightforward app.

    Whoisi.com In their own words

"First and foremost the site is organized around people. Everyone has an entry that gives an overview of what they are doing on the internet - weblog posts, flickr photos, etc. But that entry is created entirely like a wiki. Anyone can edit anything. If you notice that your friend’s entry is missing a twitter account or a flickr account you can add them. No asking them to sign up for yet another fracking account somewhere. It’s entirely up to the follower to manage their friend’s entries. "

Why Whoisi.com might be a killer

WhoIsI is a great new way to approach friends' feeds. It makes you accountable for creating and editing the feeds you want. You can even create groups and nicknames for each friend. It simplifies the process and makes it unneccessary to join more sites.
