In their own words
“Wamily was born out of a need by the two founders for a better way to keep in touch with their various groups of old friends, new friends, work friends and school friends. We thought we"d apply some of the web"s coolest tools for collaboration to social networking and social groups. We then started on a mission to create something that users could truly appreciate as a tool to have fun and keep in touch with their various social groups.”
Why it might be a killer
Wamilies are full-service, meaning they´ve got the whole tool box for you to play with. They look great and perform well, which means they will be popular among people looking to form online groups. It´s nice that you can choose to make your group public or private, and Wamily is easy to use for those who aren´t comfortable doing stuff online or are just learning.
Some questions
So far Wamily is still looking for advertisers to fund their site. However, advertisers have a lot of social networking sites to choose from. The market will determine who is the winner in this class.
