We all are part of this or the other
network, for the simple reason that everybody is there and being absent would mean that we would be cut short of a significant part of the activities our friends undertake. It only makes sense that applications mining such a pool of knowledge will see release.
Aardvark is a site that has just opened to the public at large. Initially, it lets anybody ask a question and have it answered by others who are part of his circle of contacts within the network (or networks) he habitually stops by.
The process goes along the following lines: you send out a question and Aardvark will find the right person to answer it back within the relevant social site. Once that has been taken care of, the contact will be made and you will get the response you are after very soon, maybe within a matter of minutes if your luck should be in.
I think I have said it before: anything that lets you tap into the
collective wisdom a
social site bears inherently is good by definition. Aardvark does just that, and as such it will be an appealing tool to the ones who are strengthening their
bonds with the
social web by the hour.
