trebleNation.com - Bands and Venues United

TrebleNation allows artists and venues to easily book gigs. The site works to unite the two in making booking as simple as requesting dates by venues or bands from the other and then each side accepting or rejecting the request. If the request is accepted, the dates for the concerts entered automatically come up on each user´s calendar. Artists can load up songs, upcoming shows, a bio, photos, links, and people can tag themselves as fans of the band. Venues can show their upcoming shows, a bio, photos, backline, and links.

“trebleNation was created by a small New York City based web design company called Hour Hand Productions. University of Massachusetts roommates Josh Arak and Michael D"Auria started the company a year ago in hopes to bring eye-catching, innovative websites to the internet. After spending time developing websites for small businesses, they teamed up with fellow alumni David Torchiano and friend Christian Belluso to expand their horizons and bring you trebleNation.

This is an easy way for venues and artists to see each other´s calendars and schedule good times for them to coincide. It makes smaller bands have a lot more of a chance getting a gig if the venue can hear their songs, see where they´ve performed, see if they have any fans, and everything else they need directly in front of them. People who frequent certain venues will use this site to see who´s coming.

There´s a lot of potential for the site, but there are a lot more functions I´d like to see added. Will fans be able to request venues for certain artists? Will venues accept the small bands, or do they even have a chance? Will you be able to read people´s reviews of the concerts they´ve seen and of the venues they´ve been to so that that will influence who gets chosen to play and which venues artists will choose to play at? How will the site make a profit?
