SocialBang is a happy combination of dating site, online chat, and games. Once you sign up (it takes only about a minute or two), you’ll find out that SocialBang has even more for you in store. It’s actually quite similar to a social network, with heavy focus on chat. As a member, you can share photos, win prizes, befriend others, and create your very own online hangout. These rooms can be added to your Facebook and Myspace pages. For newbies to SocialBang, after they’ve started their accounts and uploaded their profile pics, a good place to begin chatting is the Welcome Lounge. Members can invite new friends, and they even get more credits for doing so. Within chat rooms, users can move their avatars around, sit on furniture and pass through doors to other rooms. Your messages are displayed for all to see next to your avatar; you can choose to chat privately with another member as well. The site’s free for all to join.

| Thanks for the review.There is also a Facebook application version we'll launch shortly and similar hooks for the other social networks. We're aiming to straddle the existing social networks rather than recreate them, but people can of course sign up directly also.There's ton's of other features we'll enable over the next few months but our aim is to be a fun place to meet new people and interact in real time in a non 3D environment.Cheers | ||
