Shoutwire.com - Just Another Digg-like Bookmarking Site?

Shoutwire is a social bookmarking site quite similar to Digg, in that members post and vote on articles of interest, be it about news, entertainment, or anything else members find relevant. Shouts (rather than digs) are given to articles users like. Shoutwire also features editorial articles which are geared at directing members into discussion, so that the site isn´t just fluff. Shoutwire also features videos and pictures which may be submitted for shouts. Current videos include a ‘ghost crying,´ an underwater ‘SEO,´ and ‘hamburger tricks´. For further discussion, the site hosts a forum; members only are allowed to contribute. There´s a Shoutwire feed which can be specially customized for your site or blog. Although it lacks some features that other news/bookmarking sites incorporate, Shoutwire has interesting articles.

Although many deride the site as a mere Digg clone, Shoutwire does have its fair share of users. It´s got an overall clean interface and it´s easy on the eyes. Articles featured on Shoutwire expand a much wider range than Digg.
