Sazze is a review site that combines product reviews with social networking. The thrust is on social networking here, because like so many other sites, it doesn’t really do anything new. In fact, the site is very much like Yelp in that it offers quality reviews with a group of core users from a wide variety of backgrounds. Sazze just launched in public beta, so the number of reviews from its closed beta period may not impress the Amazon or Yelp user, but this launch ought to open it to more users and more reviews. The layout is familiar—there are a number of categories ranging form personal care, to toys, to used cars. Each product has a picture, and short description, followed by reviews, ratings and percentage of people that would actually buy the product. Where it differs, is the networking feature. Here you can create a profile with pic and all and post reviews, find like minded reviewers and even chat or vote on polls. Sazze is absolutely free. Feedback is encouraged and those with the best feedback get a higher reputation.
