To use rmbrME, you send your new buddy’s phone number or email address to “RMBRME” (762763), and the site will send them a link that unlocks your profiles on the social and professional networking sites that you have registered at rmbrME.com. The service even keeps track of when and where you meet people, which could come in handy if you go to a lot of networking events. Setting up your profile is free, but when you send the text message you will pay your service provider’s regular SMS fee, as well as $0.49 to rmbrME (your first two weeks are free, though). Recipients pay nothing more than the regular cost for them to receive a text message, if any.
