ProfileBuilder is an online identity management platform that provides a space in which you can create a complete personal profile. You have a lot of control over what goes in the profile and who is able to view it. Your personal profile can be embedded in your MySpace, Facebook, eBay, Friendster, and Match.com pages, and it is shown consistently in each place. This is a good service to use if you are trying to market your professional services online, or if you do online writing and blogging. It is free to use ProfileBuilder's platform, but when I gave it a try the site seemed to be having some trouble loading the page when I wanted to sign up.

In their own words
"ProfileBuilder is an online identity management platform that allows anyone to take complete control of their online identity, so that they can: * Establish a consistent profile across the web * Manage what people know about you; * Present the specific information that different types of people see; * Enable people to easily find out more about you; * Track when and where your profile is accessed."
Why it might be a killer
This is a free service that is useful for people who use online profiles for networking - professionally or socially.
Some questions
Will people prefer to maintain their current Facebook and MySpace profiles instead of using one like ProfileBuilder consistently?
