    Playfire.com - A Social Network For Gamers

    playfire

If computer games are your raison d’etre, this new social networking site will just keep you coming back from more. Self-defined as a resource created “by gamers for gamers”, it has over 40,000 titles to base interactions on. You will be able of sharing tips and tricks with others, as well as give your opinion on aspects such as which sequels and prequels are better and so on.

Of course, groups can be created at will. In practice, this means that if somebody you are not on speaking terms with has a Halo group and you wish to interact with others but give your “friend” a wide berth then you will be capable of creating your very own Halo group.

The site has just entered public beta. You can sign up and start interacting without having to undergo any kind of exclusive registration process. Simply furnish a couple of basic details when prompted, and you are all set. If games are your thing, I think that this social site merits a look at the very least. With so many games on offer (including classics like Pong), It is difficult to believe you will not find anything to suit your tastes in here.
