Placely is a new social travel site whose goal is to connect travelers while on the go. Aimed at execs, frequent travelers and enthusiasts, the site offers a means for travelers not only to organize their trips, but also to stay in touch with friends around the globe. As a Placely member, you have at your service a whole network of friends, family and colleagues—you’ll always know where everyone will be so you can plan your trip accordingly. Imagine, you could arrange your trip to Spain to coincide with that of your reliable and handy Spanish speaking friend Pablo, or you could round up some enthusiastic climbers in your town and venture to Everest or Kilimanjaro, or the Andes. Placely’s features include a calendaring tool, friends, profiles, and maps of course. Placely is a free service.
