On the other hand, one of the best aspects of the site is that it makes for collaborative albums. The same event can be covered from multiple points of view since Pictarine lets other contribute to the albums that you have created. Of course, leaving comments is also made possible, exactly like in Facebook.

All in all, the site is an effective photo mashup that takes the good aspects of Flickr and Facebook and mixes them all together. While the end result is not that groundbreaking (maybe because some of the lines separating Facebook from Flickr became blurred not that long ago), nobody would deny that the site does its bit satisfactorily enough.
