Passado.com - MySpace for Western Europe

Starting as a site for school and friend reunions, Passado grew into the MySpace of Europe. It is available in Italian, French, Dutch, English and Espanol and has over 4 million members. While its daily visitor log does not compare with MySpace, it seems to be a popular and well-designed site with the usual social networking amenities. You can create profiles, share photos, blog, send messages to friends, and recommend books and movies, among other features. There is nothing particularly innovative or special about this social networking site, but that probably isn"t important given the amount of people that are benefitting and joining the site.

With more than 4 million members Passado is Europe"s largest social networking community . Passado first launched in 2001 when two school friends looking to re-connect with other friends from their past set up what was soon to become the no 1 re-union site across Europe with over 4m people re-connecting with friends from school , university or work. Over the years Passado has developed to include new features and functions designed to give our members lots more ways to interact with one another such as blogging , photosharing , forums and broadcasts and today we have a vibrant community of people expressing their opinions , sharing information and having fun getting to know each other.

As I always say, social networking is the hot commodity on the internet today and this site seems to have cornered a large market of the European market for social networking.
