    MyFrienemies.com - Vent About Your Ex-Friends

According to MyFrienemies.com, a "frienemy" is "an enemy disguised as a friend, often responsible for causing unforeseen chaos and devastation under the guise of 'friendship.

'" If you have had a 'frienemy' and you need to vent (and maybe even connect with others who have the same frienemy, this is where you can go. You become a member, enter all your frienemies by name and residence, write a short paragraph about why they meet the criteria, post a photo or drawing - if you wish -, and wait to see if you have a match with another online member. You will be notified by email if you do. Oh, but don't worry, you can communicate with those other members anonymously. The funniest part of this site is reading all of the adjectives they list to help you describe this person, such as "lazy, lazy, liar, indecisivist, negativist, drunk, depressive, etc." It is a self-described passive-aggressive site, which the creators believe is better than a hostile-aggressive site. They even have a store with tshirts and they highlight the "frienemy of the week."

    Myfrienemies.com In their own words

Myfrienemies is a social networking site that allows you to connect with people who share frienemies with you. The purpose of this website is not to dwell on the negative, but rather to foster new friendships based on mutual dislikes, annoyances and disappointments. All information shared between members is anonymous and unavailable to the public.

Why Myfrienemies.com might be a killer

Well, I guess it's true that most of us have had a 'frienemy' and it is nice to think there is a place to vent and release some of the frustration with that experience. Then again, who hasn't grown up and realized that it takes two to create frienemies, or that people who do bad things usually hurt themselves more than you, etc etc etc....

    Some questions about Myfrienemies.com

Does this site help to reduce the negative or hurt feelings one has about their 'frienemy?' Is this site helping to improve human relations, or our culture at large? Does it matter? I don't know, but with all the negative energy out there in the world, it is hard to be attracted to a site that fosters and - worse - stores even more.
