    Musefy.com - A Social Network For Musicians

    musefy

I couldn’t kick out the music star aspirations out of me for a long, long time. And now that I have left those days behind for good sites like Musefy crop up. Tough luck, I guess. You see, this site and several others that play the same purpose let you create a profile and connect with like-minded musicians in order to create a band and (hopefully) start down the artistic pathway. It is as easy as that.

Besides, those bands that mostly have the line-up in place can find the final components by posting an ad that details exactly the talent they are looking for. What’s more, it is possible to have musefy carry out an automated search and come up with a list of matching profiles.

Future developments will include integration with Facebook and other social services so as to engage fans and create an active (not to mention loyal) user base.

Such a range of services will be enough to keep any emerging musician satisfied. I know because I speak from experience, and I would have loved to be able to resort to something like Musefy when I was younger. Younger generations are really having the pick of the bunch, and I am glad for them – after all, more musicians are having a chance of getting their message across.

    In their own words

“Musefy is network of musically inclined individuals. Using Musefy, you can easily find local musicians to play music with or connect with the best suited groups to join, be it a rock band, a capella, jazz ensemble, anything. Or off and start your own group, search for the most compatible musicians, and make it big (hopefully). Think of us like a couple matching website for the music community. Except we'll help you meet up with the best local musical talent.”

Why it might be a killer

Musicians can’t complain – services like this one make everything infinitely easier.

    Some questions

Is it free to use? Will additional services come at a cost?
