LuckyCal is a web-based calendar application that allows users to keep up with their friends and find events that interest them in their area. To use LuckyCal, simply import your friend lists from Google, Facebook, etcetera and then choose which ones you’d like to include in your calendar updates. Whenever one of your selected friends indicates that they will be in your area or that they want to go out for drinks somewhere nearby, LuckyCal will check your availability and then alert you to this upcoming opportunity. Along with making it easier to meet up with friends, LuckyCal also allows you to add favorite bands, shows, or teams and get alerts when tickets go on sale or when something else of interest is happening that might interest you.
