Koolanoo is the Jewish version of Myspace. Claiming to be the world’s first all Jewish social network, the site provides Jews an opportunity to come together, share information, and make new connections. On the networking side, you’ll find the normal features. Users get profile space in which they can upload photos, talk about their likes and life stories, and make themselves known. There’s a marketplace and a dating section. You’ve got video chat, IM and on site messaging. There are also blogs and event listings. Users can partake in forums and contribute to the message boards. You’ll need to register to check out all the goods.

In their own words
“The Jewish people are the world's most tightly knit social, cultural and economic network. Jews were networking long before the Internet ever existed and will be doing so for centuries to come. That’s the beauty of Koolanoo – membership is a given, all you have to do is sign up.

Koolanoo gives you the platform to network your way around the globe reaching Jewish people everywhere.”
Why it might be a killer
This is pretty standard, as far as social networks go, but it does have that niche thing going for it. It gives the Jewish community a space to socialize, connect and reach out.
Some questions
This doesn’t really stand out from other networks. What makes it tick? Why no customization features? There’s not much to glean from the site that it is Jewish, besides its tagline. Will this be enough to keep members coming?
