Kiwihoo.com - Make Friends, Meet Sexy People

    kiwihoo

There is certainly no shortage of social networks out there and there seems to be a new one popping up everyday. Kiwihoo has already been around for awhile and has a large database of users, primarily from Spain and other Spanish speaking countries. The site is all about having fun and it allows users to create their own blogs and groups as well as to upload videos and music. Another interesting addition to KiwiHoo that separates it from many other similar sites is the addition of a “Girl of the Week” and a “Boy of the Week”. Winners are posted on the homepage and the criteria for voting would appear to be based on the physical appearance of the user. Also, as a way of encouraging viral growth, KiwiHoo has invented a virtual currency that people can either buy or earn by inviting friends. Called Kiwis, the currency gives users increased access to other people’s profiles, allowing them to share more and get to know each other better.

    In their own words

“Kiwihoo is a worldwide community for sharing profiles, photos and groups with other people. It's a Social Network where you will meet and make friends in an easy and fun way. Just sign up for free and start to interact with other users!. Find friends in your hometown, university or that share your likings. On Kiwihoo you can create your own page with photos, blog, videos, musical bands and guestbook.”

Why it might be a killer

With an impressive number of active users primarily originating from Spain, KiwiHoo could become the social network for Spanish speakers across the world. As the third-most spoken language in the world, this is a huge market and KiwiHoo should be taken seriously for the real chance it has at becoming a major Spanish speaking social network.

    Some questions

Is there enough space for another social network? While KiwiHoo does have a few cool features like the “boy and girl of the week” there is really nothing revolutionary about it. Still, they do appear to be making ground in Spain so keep an eye.
