In their own words
"Recognizing the emerging importance of social networks empowering a new generation of online consumer interaction, Jangl set out to bring consumers´ cell phones into that experience by tackling the massive issues of enabling talk and text, safely, with anonymity."
Why it might be a killer
Jangl is already being used by an online dating service called matchTalk with promising results and universal appeal to all age groups. Already reviewed by The New York Times, USA Today, and many many others, Jangl.com is receiving a lot of press. The site has already teamed up with other dating services and Jangl raised $9 million from prominent venture capitalists in two rounds, and is a leader in developing Voice 2.0 services for consumers. Jangl has created a way to bring peoples" online relationships and personas onto the phone.
Some questions
It"s only designated to be free until mid 2007, what are their plans after that? Will people be willing to pay for the service?
