Hatebook.org - Embrace Your Evil Side

    hatebook

Hatebook.org is a site that lets you express your anger and rage. It is a parody of the social networking site Facebook, and it does a pretty good job of replicating the site. The interface is very similar with some evil changes such as a fiery red theme, and a list of the evil entourage (members). Instead of joining a network to be all chummy Hatebook is a place for you to be anti social and conniving. Create a profiling listing the things you hate, network with other evil people to create lies. Strive to be the most evil and receive hate points. Hatebook has many of the features that Facebook has, such as, you have the ability to upload photos and create hate albums and videos to your profile, and there is also a map function so you can find other Hatebook members by geographic location. So if you are against the conventional social networking fad, Hatebook.org may be a desirable option for you.

    In their own words

"upload blackmail material or publish lies • get the latest gossip from your enemies and friends • post photos and videos on your hate profile • tag your friends • get hate points from disturbing people who live, study, or work around you • take over the world"

Why it might be a killer

Hatebook.org definitely has a catching interface and homepage. The red background is a great touch along with the flame as a logo, very evil and hateful. Hatebook.org is easy to navigate, just like Facebook, all functions are neatly organized. Many of the applications on Hatebook are similar to Facebook which makes it the perfect nemesis. Hatebook.org is a good parody of Facebook and can provide you with hours of entertainment.

    Some questions

Although Hatebook has many of Facebook's functions, it lacks Facebook's control over privacy settings, so make sure what you write and list in your profile is something that can't come back to haunt you. Also if people hate the idea of social networks, I think it doesn't make much sense joining another social network to protest against them.
