eharmony.com - Find Your Perfect Match

Eharmony provides an online relationship service, but unlike other matching systems it doesn’t make matches by making use of pictures and plane people descriptions. Instead it matches you up based on compatibility in the most important areas of life, such as values, intellect sense of humor among others.

How does eHarmony do this? Once you’ve joined the site you have to answer a “Relationship Questionnaire” that provides a screen of information which will in turn allow eHarmony to make a deep compatibility match with you, on as many as 29 dimensions. These are scientifically proven to predict happier and healthier relationships. Dimensions been grouped in Core Traits (defining aspects of you that remain largely unchanged) and Vital Attributes (based on learning and experience). Once you’ve found someone who seems like a good match, you can use the eHarmony’s Guided Communication, which guides you in the process of getting to know each other so you can get to know him/her at very deep levels.

    Eharmony.com In their own words

“eHarmony is America's #1 trusted relationship service. The company was founded by one of America's most well known relationship experts, best-selling author and clinical psychologist Dr. Neil Clark Warren. In 2000, backed by over 35 years of clinical and empirical research, Dr. Warren transformed the way singles are introduced online when he launched eHarmony - the first relationship service on the Web to use a scientific approach to match highly compatible singles. Millions of people of all ages, ethnicities, and religious backgrounds have used eHarmony's patented Compatibility Matching System™ to find the love of their lives. ? In fact, recent research presented at the American Psychological Society found that eHarmony married couples are significantly happier than couples married for a similar length of time who met by other means. Building on its enormous success matching compatible singles, eHarmony launched a revolutionary new service in 2006 to help couples achieve stronger, healthier and happier marriages. eHarmony Marriage is a personalized, interactive, online "marriage wellness" program designed to help marriages flourish by building a deepened sense of understanding, appreciation and connectedness. eHarmony Marriage gives every couple the opportunity to look at their marriage objectively and increase the joy and intimacy in a private, practical and positive program.”

Why Eharmony.com might be a killer

They have developed a scientifically proven matching service, allowing users to find their perfect match. Still the service provided isn’t merely a matching service as if you’ve got trouble in getting to know people you’ll be guided in order to get to know people deeply.

    Some questions about Eharmony.com

What about woman looking for woman, or men looking for men? Why doesn’t the service match up this kind of relationships? If you’ll get matched with your perfect partner what’s the need to be guided to get to know each other, doesn’t that happen spontaneously?
