In their own words
“DowneLink is an online LGBTQ (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender/Questioning) community that allows users to interact with one another through social networks and resources. The foundation of DowneLink is to provide a space for Downe people and their friends to exchange ideas, build friendships, and utilize local and nationwide services. As with any community, we hope to grow and introduce new and innovative services that will suit their wants and needs.”
Why it might be a killer
The site offers a free service to a widening market, so their potential users could be of sky-high proportions. The market that this site targets generally has a good economic position (double income, no kids), so they won’t have a hard time in case the site should demand a user fee.
Some questions
What does the site offers to their users that will set them apart from the many other sites of this kind? Couldn’t the site offer the same service to heterosexuals, so their market widens even more?
