    DeepMemo.com - Social Quotation Service

    deepmemo

For some weird reason, people love to share quotes and content through the internet. If this is something you like to do, then you should give Deepmemo.com a try. Through the service, you’ll be able to share content you find on the internet with friends who follow your feed (like Twitter, but with a different name). If you really get into the sharing experience, you can download the DeepMemo toolbar from the site. This will allow you to share content as soon as you come across it, just by inputting it into the toolbar. You can tag the content, allowing you and your friends to easily find it in case you want to consult it again. The concept is not new at all, and some might say that there are too many sites like this already, but all in all, the execution is really well done. While it doesn’t provide anything new, it sticks to an already popular model and it doesn’t well.

    In their own words

“deepmemo allows easily and quickly to save everything interesting you come across in Internet.”

Why it might be a killer

New sites like this pop up everyday. If these guys stick to doing things right, they could take a share of Twitter users.

    Some questions

How about updates through cell phone? Wouldn’t that give it an edge Twitter lost in some countries?
