    Bliin.com - Always There

    bliin

Imagine social networking based on real time GPS readings and you´ll come up with Bliin. The basic gist of this new site is that members will be able to track each others´ locations via their GPS enabled mobiles or other wireless devices. Members can tell who is where while sharing pictures, videos, and texts via a Google map so that you´re actually depicting your whereabouts live. Logged on users can trace, monitor

    In their own words

“bliin is a free internet service for live location-based blogging & monitoring. It´s an open platform - for desktop and pocket internet - where logged-on users can track, trace and interact with other logged-on users and share personal location pictures, video´s, sounds & text in real-time, using a Google Map. So … you´re not just uploading images to a site, you´re sharing your actual location and experiences live, for other people to see and monitor through time.”

Why it might be a killer

This site enables people all around the world to interact at a closer level with real time location data and content. You´ll actually know who is where and when and what he is doing.

    Some questions

The prospects of geo data and location based networks are a bit shady; why would you really want to let strangers know where you are? Moreover, this site will only work for those who have GPS devices, which limits the market significantly ... but soon users may also submit their position manually.
