Blendapps LLC is a new company that aims to “make mashups easy”. The first service that they have put forwards is a Chat module for Ning users, which features Meebo chat rooms.

This service is coupled with real-time chat rooms for Facebook, and the well-known chat provider Userplane is also part of the list of supported providers.



The emphasis is on providing solutions that are easy to implement and put into practice, as any person with just basic Internet skills can conjure up a chat room that will recognize users from the aforementioned social services and display their profile pictures as well as linking to their profile pages.

The existing chat module runs in Google’s App Engine Servers, and there are no software installs at all involved. The implementation of the chat simply entails cutting and pasting a provided code wherever you desire the chat to come up.

Currently, Blendapps is aiming to expand its services and take into account every major chat provider on the Internet. For the time being, Ning and Facebook users can resort to the solutions that have been described above, and start chatting right away.
