AvaKit.com – Keep In Touch With Everyone

    avakit

As one gets older, it comes to mind how truly difficult it is to keep in touch with old friends and colleagues. As people move around and change their phone numbers, email addresses, and online contacts, it gets hard to get in touch with them. Avakit.com is here to change all that. The site has one main goal, and that is to make it easy for everyone to keep in touch. For instance, if you want to keep your friends updated on everything, you can create an account and set all your contact information (both new and current). This will allow anyone with an internet connection to search for you and see if your contact information is still relevant. If more people start to join this site, it could become the definitive way to search for anyone. There are many situations in which the site would be really useful (they’ve listed a couple of them, with creative scenarios and everything). Over all, this should be considered by anyone looking to allow old friends to find them.

    In their own words

“avakit was created to help you unify all your updated contact details making them available to friends and people around you, with a catch: any of the 1 billion internet users can try to search for you, but you set some general conditions to limit what each person will be able to find about you. This is done by using one contact detail as a lead to another contact detail.”

Why it might be a killer

Like I mentioned before; as more and more people join, this could become the place to search for anyone you’ve lost touch with. It’s a great idea.

    Some questions

Doesn’t this invade people’s privacy? How much do the security settings the site offers help?
