Why it might be a killer
Alumwire recognizes that college students and recent alumni are an important demographic that have more needs than collecting friends. In fact, the job search is likely the #1 thing on a recent graduate’s mind, and there is definitely room in the market for a websites that showcases interesting, entry-level jobs.
Some questions
Are students and alumni more likely to use a site that includes thousands of other students competing for the same positions offered by recruiters, or will they visit their own career center, where they face competition primarily only from their own classmates? Also, as a minor pet peeve, why are the generic profile photos of a male silhouette?
