Like many of us, you might be getting to the point where you're feeling overwhelmed by all the methods of social interaction that the internet has to offer these days. We all use multiple messengers and communities, and sometimes it's hard to keep up with all your buddies across all of their IM and social networking services.

AirTalkr, a multi-platform messaging service, synchs information across a variety of IM systems and social networks, allows you to access information about your friends without searching on multiple websites or chat functions. AirTalkr uses technology called an "Aircard" to accomplish this; when you sign up for an account, it aggregates your buddies' information online across ICQ, AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, Google Talk, Flickr, mySpace, Friendster, or YouTube and gives you access to their most recently updated information. You can chat with your friends, naturally, but you can also view their latest blogs, twitter, photos and videos. Registration is free, but you'll need to install the AIR runtime software to use the application.
