Another social network focused on the music scene, URockHard intends to rise above the rest with its slick rock chops. The site is geared towards fans of Rock Band and Guitar Hero, that is musical gaming kids who aren’t quite in the league of professional or even amateur musician. URockHard also caters to air guitar players, karaoke stars, and even the occasional real rock band looking for a network to call home. Members can display their skills by uploading videos and pictures. The site also includes a section called ‘Stoked4Stuff’ which is a free online classified marketplace for trading/selling gaming gear, musical paraphernalia and the like. The ‘Sound Board’ allows members to record audioclips promoting URockHard, while ‘The Garage’ is a space dedicated to musicians and bands. You’ve got to sign up to take full advantage of the site.
