Coffee is simply one of those things that you create circles around, which is just what BaristaExchange has done. Far from being a simple directory for coffee places or a dating spot for baristas, this site is for coffee lovers of all walks of life—from those who work in the industry to those who farm it and drink it on a regular basis. BaristaExchange counts within its network members from over 100 countries. The features are those you’d find on most networks these days: profiles, groups, photos and videos. The site also has a job listing section, and event calendar and Talk Coffee, a section dedicated to all things coffee.

“BaristaExchange.com is the number one networking website for working baristas, coffee enthusiasts, coffee roasters, farmers and coffee shop owners world wide.”
| Why it might be a killer | |||
BaristaExchange is a well designed niche social network. It’s catered to fit the needs of entrepreneurs and business men as well as coffee lovers. The site is also excellent as a job exchange, as many members either own coffee joints or are baristas. Overall, it’s well organized and looks clean.
| Some questions | |||
This site may be too encompassing—baristas aren’t necessarily coffee lovers, and coffee lovers may not be interested in coffee jobs. Besides that looking through a 1001 perfect latte pictures may get tiresome.
