| I LIVE IN OWENSBORO, KENTUCKY AND FREQUENTLY SHOP AT TARGET. TODAY, A STORE SECURITY OFFICER BY THE NAME OF MANDY WENT WAY BEYOND WHAT SHE HAD TO DO TO HELP ME WITH A PROBLEM. THIS YOUNG LADY IS CERTAINLY AN ASSET TO YOUR COMPANY. I HAD GIVEN UP ON HAVING ANYONE IN THE RETAIL BUSINESS BEING AS HELPFUL AS SHE WAS! YOU COULD DO WELL WITH MORE EMPLOYEES LIKE MANDY! | ||

| Several months ago I purchased three, 13"X13" packages of white washcloths, made in Pakistan, distributed by Target Corporation, labeled Independent Studios. After just one washing all four sides of nearly every washcloth unraveled and several have holes in them. This is the very reason I stopped shopping at a super Wal-mart that is two blocks away from the Riverdale Target I shop at, their merchandise is cheaply made and does not hold up!!! Sadly, now I feel as if I must keep all receipts from Target until I see how well the merchandise holds up and I have never felt the need to do that before. On a brighter note, unlike other Target stores I read about our Riverdale store has the friendliest, most helpful employees I have ever encountered, it is one important reason I shop there when I have numerous large department stores just as close. | ||

| I was shopping in your store on 05-18-2008 in El Paso, TX. I had purchased several items but when I returned home one of the items a 2 pk plastic container was cracked on the side and the product had been used. I went back to the Target store today to return the item and was told that I had to get a gift card because I had wrote a check for the items that I purchased on 05-18-2008 I did not want a gift card I wanted my cash back because the item had been used and stocked back onto the floor. The policy on Target's receipt does not say that you have to wait 7-10 days to return merchandise to get cash back If that is Target's policy it should be clearly stated on the receipt for the customer. I did not realize that $ 5.36 was such a big deal to get cash back on when it was not my fault the product was put back on the floor used. When I talked to Matt in customer service he was still not willing to do anything for me as a customer at Target. I guess your customers do not mean that much to you when you can not afford to give your customer back the money just because they wrote a check. The company should remember that we are the paying customer and we pay your paycheck, if it was not for us the customer you would not have a JOB. | ||

| Target has the worst return policy in the entire retail industry. BEWARE! Do not get caught like I did. Because my return was more than $20 they refused to refund my money or issue a gift card. I have been a loyal Target customer for many years. However, I will never shop there again due to the horrible return policy. I have informed all of my co-workers, friends and relatives. | ||

| On Sunday, May4th, I went to the Target in Smithfield Commons, Rhode Island to buy the chair that was on sale. I have been waiting for it to go on sale for about 6 months. It is for a first anniversay present for my son and daughter-in-law. Well it was pouring cats and dogs and I had my son's pick up truck to take the chair home. I was at the store when it opened at 8 a.m. and asked for the manager. Reggie came out to meet me and he himself took charge of the chair-finding mission for me. He called the back room and had it taken out to the front of the store. I went to the hardware area to purchase a tarp but there was none so I went down the road to buy a plastic drop cloth at Home Depot and went back to Target. Reggie put the giant box on the tarp on the truck, wrapped the box with the tarp, taped the tarp to the box and sent off one happy customer!I have never been treated so wonderfully by any manager anywhere.....and I am 60 years old so I know what I am talking about. You have a great person in Reggie ..... I hope he will get the promotions he deserves. Susan Diana, Johnston, RI. P.S. the chair stayed dry on the way home in a down pour and it was a big hit with my son and his wife. They just love it. They were registered at Target for their wedding. | ||

| On 4-29-08 I tried to purchase and have installed a battery for a watch that was purchased at Target. Brand is no longer carried but battery size was. I could buy the battery but no installation was available. I then went to Walmart-which I did not want to do-and had the battery installed, no questions asked! Two minutes | ||

| I am very disappointed in the service that i recently spent at target. A dining room set was on sale and it was sold out every day that i went back. Even when i asked no one offered me the opportunity to get a reincheck. i bought the furniture at the full price, not to mention it was poorly lined up, and the table was cracked. Now a month later that same set is on sale. Most stores have a refund exchange policy of 30 days. I am a customer that shops there all the time, and i will be sure to tell everyone about my recent experience at Target. | ||

| I puchased a blender with a gift card for $50. It was very unsatisfactory. I received no receipt at purchase. When I tried to return it I was told that without receipt I was stuck with the merchandise costing $39 --no refund or store credit. I have never experienced a policy this unfair to customer in any other store. I will warn my family and friends about Target's unreasonable policies and I am sure it will influence them. Get real! | ||

| I have shopped at the super target in Tinley Park, Il. since the store opened. I have noticed for about the last month, the store does not have certain items that I have bought since I started shopping there, example, heavy duty paper plates, quaker oat fast cooking oatmeal, jenni O lunchmeat, and each time I go back to the target, more merchandise is missing, I spoke to the store manager who stated since the murders at the Lane Bryant store across the parking lot, your business has become slower. I too will have to go to another grocery store because it is a waist of my time on my day off to go to your store and not find the things I need. This seems to be a problem at all targets, when they open, they are fully stocked, but as time goes by, there is less and less on the shelves. also, your cashiers are not the most polite people, it is very rare that I would have a cashier say hi or even THANK YOU. I gather you do not know the meaning of good business, your competition is taking your business away with empty shelves and rude employees. I work too hard for my money to be treated like this. I would rather pay the higher price and be treated with respect. | ||
