The West Penn Allegheny Health System (WPAHS) gathers together some of the most renowned players in the western Pennsylvania medical scene. The WPAHS consists of two tertiary hospitals, and four community hospitals. These hospitals serve Pittsburgh and the surrounding five states. The WPAHS site lists the medical specialties that the health professionals working at these hospitals expertise in, including cardiac surgeries, neurosurgeries and cardiac catheterization procedures.
