This site is the home for the national association of retired members of the military who have fought in wars overseas, and as such allows them to meet and discuss topics of relevance, find news about government initiatives and projects of interest, watch videos, and read blogs by fellow veterans. The site is updated usually several times a week, so it is a great way to be on the know with what is happening in the veteran community.
Also interesting is that the site presents links to other retired military groups in order to foster socialization and forge new bonds with colleagues. Since these men and women probably have the most incredible tales to tell, pictures to show and probably footage as well, I really missed finding some form of online gallery gathering these experiences, as it seems like a really interesting project for veterans of all ages to engage in.
