In order to submit a manuscript, the interested party has to request a brochure first, along with an envelope that is used to send the manuscript with. The brochure can also be viewed online, and it contains all the particulars a prospective author must know. These include a FAQ titled “Did You know…?” which lists some important considerations, along with tips and hints to increase the chance of a book being published. The brochure also explains the actual process of publishing a book, and the subsidy publishing program is described in great detail, emphasising its dynamics, and remembering the interested person that sometimes only a small or negligible part of the fee is recovered. A list of renowned authors that started their careers by means of publishing at their own expense is included. A list of recent titles published by Vantage Press is also part of the brochure.
