    TheWorldRace.org - 11 Countries In 11 Months

    TheWorldRace

The World Race is a Christian organization (of no particular denomination) which aims to reach out to young people across the US and the world to teach them religion and provide international volunteer and evangelization missions, which take them to at least 10 countries in 11 months, and you can learn all about them on the site by reading testimonials, taking a look at the image galleries or watching videos (which you can also embed on your site). This feature-rich site is not only very nicely designed, but it also puts forward all the advantages the internet has to offer by posting a long list of blogs updating readers about mission team status, to which you can subscribe via email (RSS, anytime soon?). Extensive information for parents and participants can be found on TheWorldRace.org, alongside the routes and faith-statement of the programs, and also enrolment forms. Extensive participant’s profiles are featured on the site as well, but it would be nice to get links to their profiles in social networks, like Facebook or MySpace, as this would definitely help to getting the mission known in its particular demographic group (20’s and 30’s). You can also donate to the mission online, and the process is ultra easy: just select a team, indicate how much and how often you want to give, provide payment details and you’re ready to go.
