Siecus.org stands for the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States. They first opened their doors in 1964 and since then they are concerned about the lack of proper information about sexuality among young people and adults. They promote some statements, like: human sexuality, sexuality education, sexuality and religion, sexually explicit materials, sexual orientation, gender equality and equity, female genital mutilation, sexuality of the aging, sexual health care, contraceptive care for teenagers, abortion, and AIDS. On the main page of the web site there are diverse links, such as: information and education, policy and advocacy, newsroom, other resources, etc. Within the former you can find diverse topics: teen pregnancy, adolescent sexuality, sexual and reproductive health, and many more. Some of the policies you can read about are international policy, international right wing watch, policy quick facts, etc. If you need accurate information to transmit to your children about sexuality in general, check out this site.
