As official home of the Florida Seminoles, this site is the way to go if you want to learn interesting facts about this Native-American community, their history and culture. The site is nicely designed and hosts a wealth of lengthy articles covering history and some interviews as well, plus detailed information on cultural practices and crafts, ranging from weaving, hairstyle to dances. I was expecting to find some more media in the site than what there actually is: I reckon it would be great to be able to see traditional singers or performers directly in the site, or at least have links to sites where such material is available, like YouTube or Flickr. The Seminoles have a rich tradition of textile arts, and you can get see showcases of patterns at SeminoleTribe.com, and also links to buy traditional patchwork from the site’s eBay marketplace, where other crafts, book, videos and postcards can be bought.
