Pownce.com allows you to send messages, files, links and events to your friends. You can do it on your web site or install its software that lets you get out of the browser. How does it work? You get invited to this site and then you create a network of people you know and then you can share your stuff and send messages to all of them, some of them or just one of them. If you want to get invited, enter your email and send your request; you may be invited in their next round of invites. You can even add photos to your file and post songs that you have recorded. Only the recipients you choose can see and respond your emails; you can also make public notes that public at large can read and respond. Basic features are free of charge; if you want you can upgrade to a pro account which enables you to send bigger files and is free of ads for an annual fee.
