The Pokemon Crater Battle Arena was an online Pokemon game where you could catch your own online Pokemon, train them, and battle them against other players. This online Pokemon game was completely free so you could simply enter and start playing. You could own and battle Pokemons online, fight with them in different gyms and arenas, move up levels, and become the best Pokemon trainer on the web.

Version 7 of the game brought a whole new look for the site and featured a new user interface that sped up battles and moving on the maps. You could battle with your favorite Pokemon by playing an online game that had many Pokemon fans of all ages, from all around the world hooked. This game was a great option for those who loved the original video game or the cartoons and wanted to have a crack at knowing what it’s like to be a Pokemon master themselves.

Unfortunately for all the many avid players of the game, this site is no more. The person behind this online game took it out of circulation on December 1st 2007 due to personal reasons not all too clearly specified. Since that time, gamers from all parts of the world have been crying out for it to come back; unfortunately to no avail. According to sources on the web, there are currently no plans to get the game up and running again, or to create a newer version of it.

The site itself was sold to Nintendo, the original creators of the Pokemon games. If you’re a fan and want to play a Pokemon game, you’ll have to shell out some cash and get the Nintendo versions.
