A Poufbunny, yet undefined by the Urban Dictionary and Wikipedia, is basically a fan of all skirts fluffy of the 1950’s fashion, and this site is entirely about that kind of women’s clothing style: you’ll find galleries of images depicting skirts and dresses, and some can be bought by email order. One of the areas of the site I liked the best is the one to be found under the ‘texts’ section, where users can find a variety of user-submitted fiction, alongside quotes from the classics and excerpts from fashion manuals from the 50’s and 60’s, so the site will definitely prove of great help for fashion designers and historians too. Interestingly, Pettipond.com carries a reading list and also a detailed guide to crinolines and petticoats appearances in the big screen, plus links to other websites of interest, so you can go on reading about them at leisure. The problem with this site, though, is probably design, in as much as it would be great if categories received a bit more highlight (they are presented as very small navigation panels somewhat hidden in between the text), and also to point first-time visitors to where to start browsing.
