| I have never in my life been so humiliated. We arrived at the resort at 11:30 am and notified the front desk of our arrivel. Knowing that check in was not till 4:30 pm we were very patent. At 4:30 I went back to the front desk only to find out the resort had NO room for us. I had booked the reservation by phone to the front desk of this resort and payed with a debit card three weeks pier. When I ask for a refund so that my family and I could make other arangments for the rest of our vacation I was told that my account would be credited the money but would not show up for seven to ten days. Leaving us with no place to stay! After 3 long hours of pure humiliation we were given a room only to find the room a complete mess and unclean. I was told by Rebecca Hanrahan (front desk manger) that she trusted her maid service. At that time my husband ask the question "How would you like to be treated like shit on your vacation?" Sacurity was called. aparently while sacurity was talking to us someone checked the room to see if in fact I had been lying about the shape of the room. Finding, of course, the room in a mess Rebecca, without appoligizing, offered to send us to dinner and the resort rembursing us the cost. After dinner my husband and I decided to pay for our meal ourselves. We felt as if the resort had basicly accused us of trying to scame them or somthing. All we wanted was what we paid for nothing more and defenitly nothing less. The rest of the vacation was horrible for me I had been so stressed by trying to check in that I was completely exhusted for the rest of the short time we were there. By not getting into our room untill 8:30 at night I feel as if we were cheated a whole day not to mention the fact that knowone goes on a vacation to experence more stress. I personaly would never stay at this resort ever agien!!! | ||
