Nursys.com is a website in directly related to NCSBN (The National Council of State Boards of Nursing.) The council board was implemented over 100 years ago by the government. The purpose of the council board of nursing is to establish and control the standards for safe nursing and issuing licenses to practice nursing. The board’s members consist of licensed nurses, advanced practice registered nurses, and consumers. Their objective is to take care of board of nurses activities and correct them if necessary.
The NCSBN governs over the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Virgin Islands, America Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
Nursys.com is a program which contains nurse licenses and license discipline information, provided by the NCSBN. Nursys.com also keeps a register of nurses, and allows the board of nurses to edit the licenses and disciplinary information. The information that is contained in Nursys.com’s register has to do with personal, educational, verification, and disciplinary information strictly to do with nurses and the board of nurses.
