This is the official site of the National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA), which was founded in 1969, by representatives from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania, and is currently based in Ohio. They established uniform rules and structure for the sport. Nowadays, it is the foremost sanctioning organization of truck and tractor pulling, and now has over 550 locations. The NTPA has established standards for both safety and competition rules in the pulling industry. Many domestic and international pulling associations adhere to the NTPA rulebook. Consequently many lives have been saved, due to the efficiency of the NTPA workers and trained volunteers. NTPA Championship Pulling is shown on the RFD-TV network four times a week. The site provides all kinds of information, including award programs, event schedules, sponsor information, event results, a technical section, a newsroom and interesting, related links and so on.
