NRCprograms.org is the website of National Relief Charities (NRC), an organization aimed to provide programs and services to Native Americans throughout the United States. The programs and services seek to improve the quality of life of the Native Americans communities, making available opportunities to construct a better future for them, their families and their communities. National Relief Charities provides basic support and education programs to rural communities on economically depressed reservations. NRC achieves its goals through seven program “arms”: American Indian Education Foundation (AIEF), which provides students with scholarships and the tools to learn; American Indian Relief Council (AIRC), which provides broad-based programming; Council of Indian Nations (CIN), which provides food and other programs; Southwest Indian Relief Council (SWIRC), which provides broad-based programming; Sioux Nation Relief Fund (SNRF) brings food programs to Sioux Elders who suffer from hunger and malnutrition; Navajo Relief Fund (NRF) primarily serves the largest Indian Reservations in the United States, the Navajo Reservation and Native American Aid (NAA) helps needy children, adults, and Elders.
