The mission of the Orange County Clerk of Courts is to manage information on the justice system and provide public services to the community efficiently and effectively. The Clerk is responsible for maintaining the records of the circuit and county courts. For this purpose a qualified staff is employed in order to carry out the many duties associated with this responsibility. Up until now, employees were divided among three general categories and 18 divisions. In order to provide customers with a more efficient level of services, several divisions were consolidated and a separate Trial Clerk division was created. Now the divisions are as follows: Civil, Community offices, Criminal, Family Services, Financial Services, Juvenile, Probate/Mental Health, Traffic, Trial Clerks, and Support.
