The Montgomery County Public Libraries is a site that provides individuals with up-to-date information for work, school, or personal research. There is a section aptly titled “Using The Library” that gives a low-down on library usage, including details on how to get a library card, how to request materials, and how to carry out research. Likewise, multicultural services are catered for, and there is also a “Children’s Discovery Rooms” page that has been put together with the young ones in mind. There is a page for teens, too. Another section is the “News and Events” page, where the latest developments are posted, and there is a Reader’s Café which features recommendations, along with a book discussion corner for exchanging ideas and insight. It is possible to sign up for monthly newsletters, which cover the full range of available titles, from audio books and critic’s choice, to history and current affairs.
