MMC.org is the official website for the Maine Medical Center. For those who don’t know anything about this medical center let me introduce it to you. The MMC claims to be not only the Maine’s premier referral hospital, but also a community hospital serving the greater Portland region. In the site you will be able to read more about the center as well as to find more information about the services it offers to its patients. In the home page you will find the MMC News which, as its title indicates, are the latest news and updates concerning the Maine Medical Center. At the middle-left side of the main page you will see some useful links for you to explore the site. Some of the links are education, careers, events, health info, and research, among many others. There are online services, which are pretty cool for those who are patients. MMC.org also allows you to do volunteer work and give support to the hospital; you will find more info at MMC.org.
