LockDownMyID.com - Preventing ID Theft

LockDownMyID provides a password protected members’ area that is accessible 24/7 where you can place your identity on virtual LockDown without giving the site power of attorney. This allows you to keep your identity to yourself, which is the first major step in identity protection. The site offers fraud alert call forwarding to 3 numbers of your own choosing therefore making sure you receive immediate notification in any potential instance of fraud. LockDownMyID also offers 90 day e-mail alerts to remind you to reset your fraud alerts in a timely fashion. Once a month you will receive an informative newsletter especially created to keep you current on identity theft prevention issues, any new services, as well as tips to help you. This company differs from the rest of the identity theft prevention services because it does not store consumers’ personal identity on a server, but rather assists the consumer in becoming "classified" and allowing them to keep their ID secret and helping them extract their sensitive info form databases both online and offline.

I heard about LockDownMyID on Larry King Live and I'm very pleased with the service. Anytime I have a question they respond very fast. For $7.99 per month you can go wrong.

This service does what the other identity theft protection services DON'T do... KEEPS MY PERSONAL INFO PRIVATE. I was looking for something like this and it's about time.

After much research and fact finding I found lockdownmyid's service to be the best because they don't ask me for my personal data or store it on their server. I am able to get my fraud alerts forwarded to my home, work, and cell phone. It's worth it.

This service costs less than Lifelock and it's easy and simple to do. It's interactive and you get a really cool service that forwards your fraud alerts to 3 numbers I was able to choose myself.

It's way better than the rest.LockDownMyID allows you to remove your personal information from people search databases spread all over the Internet - all from your own secured members area. There are hundreds of websites that give away your sensitive personal information without your expressed permission.Your private personal data is removed from online and offline databases using LockDownMyID, you gain protection from: Credit fraud Internet stalkers Identity theft Unwanted phone calls IT"S ALL DO IT YOURSELF. LockDownMyID also delivers a must have call forwarding service that forwards your fraud alerts to 3 numbers of your choosing (home, work, cell) this service immediatelyNotifies you wherever you might be making sure you get the call. The faster you get notified of any potential fraud the quicker you can stop any damage to your good name.LockDownMyID does all of this without asking you for power of attorney. I researched this service, and others including LifeLock and Debix; and find this one to be amateur at best.. They don't even have a phone number you can call them at, (wtf?); and don't really say how they make your information safe or remove it from the marketplace.
