    JTA.org - Jewish Telegraphic Agency

    Jta

As it is the case with the largest world news agencies, by visiting JTA.org, users will be able to learn about what’s going on in the US and world by reading stories, interviews, comment, and taking a look at image galleries, videos and reading blogs by the agency’s staff members. Needless to say, the information focuses mainly on topics that are somewhat related to Judaism politics, lifestyle and culture, from a point of view sufficiently objective to please religious and secular Jews alike. Strikingly, you won’t be able to find much coverage on the Israel-Palestinian conflict or on Israel’s internal affairs, though there is extensive coverage of community issues, like the Diaspora, and government support for educational programs. JTA.org is a good way to keep updated on the shifts of view in the presidential campaign in regards to the Middle East conflict, as the agency has summed up to all the major news sources online and off, and put together a section devoted to tracking what the presidential hopefuls are up to, only paying close attention to what they have said in regards to Judaism and Israel. Since this agency caters for such diverse topics and audiences, it could be a good idea to subscribe to some of the RSS feeds to learn about the stuff you are interested in.
