InauguralAddress09.com - Submit Yours

After discussing their hopes that Barack Obama's Inaugural Address would be at least as powerful as his 'Race Speech,' two friends took it upon themselves to lend Obama and his speech writers a helping hand by launching InauguralAddress09.com.

Recognizing that the internet is what allowed the Obama Campaign to so loudly hear the voice of the people, and with this in mind the site allows anyone to submit key words, phrases, quotes or their own version of the inaugural speech they'd like to hear Obama deliver. This information will then be made available to Obama and his speech writers; Jon Favreau, Ben Rhodes and Adam Frankel.

Unless someone is capable of writing an address as powerful as The Ghettysburg Address, it is asked that submissions be less than 800 words – though the Gettysburg Address is considerably shorter than that. Remember, less is more.

The inaugural address often sets the tone of the new administration and this coming one is ceratinly very much awaited by all. This is your chance to help make this much anticipated speech one which will warm you heart and soul on what will certainly be a very cold day in the Nation's Capitol.
